Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, a 501(c)3 organization headquartered in Williston, Florida, was founded in 2010 by Carol Borden, who serves as the Chief Executive Officer. This initiative is supported by a dedicated Board of Directors, committed employees, Ambassadors, Advisory Council, and volunteers, all united to harness the remarkable potential of service dogs. With a foundation in positive-reinforcement training methods, Guardian Angels ensures each applicant is thoughtfully evaluated, equips recipients with the necessary tools for success with their service dogs, and carefully matches each dog to its recipient's needs.

Guardian Angels holds an unwavering commitment to aiding individuals across various disabilities, leveraging the transformative influence of service dogs. Their training encompasses medical service dogs equipped to mitigate challenges associated with a range of permanent disabilities, such as Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Traumatic Brain Injury, seizure and diabetic disorders, mobility limitations, and more.

Since its inception in 2010, Guardian Angels has proudly united hundreds of meticulously trained medical service dogs with deserving recipients across the nation. Notably, Guardian Angels ensures that no recipient is burdened with the cost of their service dog. The recipients themselves emerge from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Some have confronted formidable illnesses, while others bear the wounds of conflict. However, what unites them all is the discovery that embracing the power of a service dog has ushered in love, support, and a profound sense of healing.
